Falls Creek Chalet – Galvanised Decking, Handrails & Balustrading

RMR Engineering were engaged to design, manufacture, deliver and install new double storey galvanised decking, handrails & balustrading arrangements, as part of the complete Kunama Chalet Refurbishment Project.  The installation was on the side of a mountain along Falls Creek Road, at Falls Creek in the Victorian High Country.

As part of the installation, this project also included a 70-Tonne all terrain crane, which was utilised to lift the decking sections into position in four (4) main sections, as well as co-ordination of and with other trades groups.  The Total Project Value was unknown.

This project was completed between March and April 2013, we had up to eight (8) RMR Engineering team members working on the various stages of the above project, utilising the full array of our carbon (mild) steel manufacturing expertise and equipment.

With the successful implementation of the above project, RMR Engineering has subsequently been invited back to Falls Creek for other stainless steel and similar types of projects.
